Tom Bean ISD is a unique school district that leverages the small school atmosphere to create a positive school experience for our students. Tom Bean ISD has a rich history and strives to protect the small town feel and tradition that the district has established over the years. Tom Bean ISD also emphasizes providing a safe and nurturing school environment, while attempting to base every decision on doing what is best for our students. As a small school district, Tom Bean ISD is able to forge strong connections with parents, students, and the entire community to provide a supportive, academic focused learning environment.

Tom Bean Elementary
September 2019
Our Elementary Campus was recognized as the only elementary school in Grayson County that earned a superior rating of "a" based on the State of Texas campus accountability ratings. Along with the "A" rating, the elementary school also received 4 out of 6 distinctions from the state.
Tom Bean Middle School

At Tom Bean Middle School, we recognize the three years students are on our campus are pivotal to their success in high school and beyond. We place significant emphasis on developing the character of our students through the use of planned experiences to develop integrity and respect. We strive to build relationships with our students and make their middle school experience one they will remember as a positive one.
From the 6th grade Welcome Visits to the 8th grade Awards Ceremony, our goal is to help our students to discover who they are and guide them through the many trials know as middle school.
Athletic Opportunities

Our School offers a wide variety of athletic opportunities for our students beginning in the 7th grade free of charge. During the Fall, we offer Cross Country, Football, and Volleyball. In the Winter, we offer Powerlifting, and Basketball. In the Spring, we offer Baseball, Softball, as well as Track & Field.
At Tom Bean ISD we believe in creating a well-rounded athlete who is involved in multiple sports to benefit the entire athletic program. This type of mentality allows for each sport to experience success and led to playoff berths and/or postseason recognition for every sport in the 2018-2019 school year.
Our Coaches are “Double-Goal” coaches who teach/mentor all of our student athletes winning habits that lead to success on and off of the playing field. Through sports, our coaches and athletes develop great relationships that carry on even after high school graduation.
